Having an excellent reputation for high quality bespoke basements, Biocraft wanted to further differentiate themselves from the numerous competitive regional building companies that did not have the specialties Biocraft possessed.

The project BMi undertook was to focus on Biocraft’s skilled craftsman, with the plan to win the prestigious Federation of Master Builders (FMB) regional award and be put forward to the national annual awards – placing Biocraft in a league of its own.

The Heavenly Builder award represents a unique nationwide search by the FMB to find the best builders in the UK. All of the nominations come from satisfied clients and builders. Judging was based on each nominations technical ability together with their customer service skills and attention to detail, all this - along with the projects end result.

BMi spent many hours looking through and reviewing the countless building projects that Biocraft had undertaken in the past twelve months and interviewing many of their satisfied customers. It was a challenge to pick just a single project that would have sufficient differentiation to ensure they were picked the regional winner!

In the end Gary Andrews the project manager at Biocraft and his small team who fully tanked the basements of eleven properties and fitted pumping systems that prevented water ingress during the worst floods in UK history, saving all of the properties, was the right project to choose.

It was fantastic news when the BMi team was informed that Biocraft had been announced as the regional winner in the ‘Heavenly Builder’ category by the FMB – meaning Biocraft were immediately entered into the national finals.

Biocraft are now looking forward to taking on the national awards in London in the New Year. This is something the BMi team definitely will not miss out on!
